Lets see.....first off, all 4 of you are Sniper bait. One of the rules of Combat is you NEVER fucking stand in the open like that. If it were me and my mates in that picture we would all be prone or in the fucking treeline man. lol Second, I dunno what is with the guy third from the right and his bandanna, that shit is just stupid. the red on Black make a great aiming point for a sniper. He can zero in on the head and then figure out where his Center of Mass is from there. Third, get your weapons load out right, from the looks of it he has a 3x9 on a M4 which is fine in some cases but in a team battle like this you always put scopes like that on long rifles. M-14s, M16A4s ect. It looks like you all are trying to do everything but no one has one set job. That may sound like a good idea on paper but everyone has to have their MOS man XD.
first off, this was the Evike challenge, we arent out in the open, there's a huge wall of cover in front of us off camera, and x2 hostiles per stage that we already are aware of armed with Systema PTW's. Second, the timer hasnt started for the second leg yet, so nobody is allowed to fire. The area outside the cover is a speedball course, so you could wear bright orange, and it wouldn't make a difference. Hell one of the teams had a leapord skin camo on their guns. Also, we were not allowed to go outside the speedball courses each stage, so the tree line was out of area.
I'm the sniper, and in airsoft, practicality wins over looks, (for me anyway) so i use a carbine as a sniper rifle, with internal mods making it shoot farther than the enemies systema PTW's. in airsoft, you can make an M4 sized barrel gun shoot further than an M14 mainly becuase of the Hop-up unit, and correct spacer and bucking. Most of the time, barrel size in airsoft has nothing to do with the range. My last sniper rifle was a G3 SG1, and it was alot bigger, heavier, and harder to use in all area's as appose to the carbine sized CAR15 i'm using in this photo. This CAR15 shoots noticably further, and much more accurate using .25 kingarms bb's, then the G3 did using the same bb's. I've had an M14, an M16, an L96, VSR10, SVD, and G3 SG1, and if you ditch looks, and go for what is better suited for airsoft purposes, the carbine wins all the way. It's able to go into CQB easier if need be, can swap mags with most of the other players, and this perticular one is dead quiet, internally silenced to the best an AEG can be.
Everyone has their job set. x2 assualt gunners, a sniper/assualt gunner, and a SAW gunner. For this leg of the competition, we all know already which way we are going, who we are with, and how we plan on disarming the bomb. Both enemeis start at set spots we've already seen from spectating an earlier team run the course.
This game was played out ALOT different than a conventional airsoft game, since it was an endurance style competition, with in total x4 enemies. x2 at stage one, x2 at stage 2, and stage 3 was a sniper challenge which was only me in that stage, and I was the only one in the day to nail both targets in only 3 shots. Targets were eggs that you was only allowed to use x6 shots per egg. First i got in one shot, the second i got in 2.

Well, once again, this is why I dont like the sponcered matches. That and I go for the more difficult matches anyways, the WWII-1950s esq one where everyone uses peoird weapons and if it didnt have optics it didnt have optic and you used the iron sights. Simple as that. keeps this simple and easy. you divi up the max amount of mags you can carry as per the soilder's country's load out or whatever set up you are using, fill the mags to the max amount of rounds they will carry in real life and you go. You're squad has a man for each job: Sniping, support, rifleman, ect. We try to keep it as much as a real life combat mod more than anything else. You will never see any websites sponcer any matches like that because you will get a ton of people bitching about it. In my view the games I play are a hell of alot more challenging that matches sponcered by Evike and such. And ours are homegrown too!
surprisingly enough, at enduro, nobody really complianed, since there was alot of refs and such. The only compliants regarded the time frame. Most thought the course was way too big and long for only a 10min completion time. They only did that cuase last years Enduro, was on another field, and most people did it in 5 mins, so they figured this one they'd give 10, and 10 just, it was do-able, but really hard.
everyone had a very good time, and the after game skirmishes went along very well also.
