Crowded, the platforms teeming with anticipation for the arriving train. Hundreds of anxious passengers sighed with relief as the arriving uptown train as it shot out of the tunnel like a bat out of hell into the station. The dirty train grinding to a halt as the passengers on the platform waited for the doors to slide open, there was a deafening screech of train wheels as the train stopped and the doors slid open. Passengers streamed in, hundreds of commuters began to pack into the train like sardines in a tin. Within a moment the subway platform emptied out, the uptown train's doors shut. The platform was now less crowded, the train shot off into the tunnel heading uptown. Just another chaotic day in the big city.
Man this picture took me ages to finish, but it was worth the wait!
