Dangit, I dont know an extensive amount of either SU or Gargoyles, but I CAN say that I totally agree with making the crossover! I really like how you took the designs of the gems and implimented that into the gargoyle side, and I also like that you make them each a little bit unique from each other, too. Im really curious to see how future designs of the other characters would look, if you decided to go that route.

That aside, dont worry about the shading! Im starting to finally learn that (at least for myself) doing sketches and leaving them as such can actually be beneficial. Its less to worry about in the moment, and pfffsssh, you can always go back to it in the future if you really wanted~ Gosh, I mean, you can also do them as warmups and stuff, to he the creativitiy flowing and stuff. Thats just my personal opinion though; its your art after all, so you should do what you want with it! ‘u’

Aww, thank you! I felt like this crossover suited the gems because they can shapeshift and I'm also a bit obsessed with Gargoyles (can't you tell?!?)! I do want to draw the other main characters but I'll leave that for another day!

Ah, you've got a point with letting the creativity flow. Gotta remember how I used to be with my art, just pumping out sketches and flat colours. I do love rendering how that I SOMEWHAT know what I'm doing but I will have to pace myself for it as it takes a long time for me!
