Night was nearing as I was driving through the hills behind my house on this cold winter night. Looking to my right, I caught a glimpse of this spectacular display of colors through the pines. I pulled over, took out my SLR and tripod and captured this scene for you all to enjoy. A Tahoe Sunset.

oh my gosh.....*jaw drop* That is just fckn beautiful man. That picture looks like Big Bear almost, but lookit the colors reflecting EVERYWHERE, and it's just real....plain beautiful. :3

I didn't have any filters on me for this shot. It was taken at 33mm
on my 18-50mm zoom lens. This is a combination of a few pictures
that were taken from that vantage point and then the edges slightly
cropped. Thank you so much for the comment. I love receiving such

I live up here! =^__^= The area up here is amazingly beautiful, and even the view from my bedroom window over the lake in the morning is breathtaking. It's a wonderful escape and a wonderful place to live. Thanks ^__^ That shot is one of my favorites that i've taken up here
