Deigned and produced by the Free Dac Volunteers for the Confederacy as a long ranged vessel for scouting ahead of formations or scouting out locations for new bases. The Backfinn was notoriously fast and highly maneuverable, the Backfinn was capable of outrunning all but the fastest of starfighters. For much of the clone wars, the vessel was obscure and often unseen by the forces of the Republic. The Vessels would see more use in the Rebellion to Restore The Republic in the same way it was used by the Confederacy, unlike with the Confederacy the Rebellion Backfinn's would be seen much more and would build up a hefty reputation from it's usage.
