It was years since Simba or Nala had seen Tama and Kula. Hearing Simba and Nala discussing "The good ol' times" and how much they missed the two lionesses, Zazu took it upon himself to send out a few of his friends to find them. It took nearly a month, but eventually they were found.
The birds explained everything that'd happened and they were over joyed to learn that Simba was alive and Nala had survived Scars reign. They set off as soon as they could and before long, they were nearing the Pridelands
"Do you think they'll remember us?" Asked Kula.
"Of course they will! Who'd forget us!" Tama Laughed.

Note: I read how much Kula loves eating, that's why she's a bit tubby here :P
