Had this one in the works a good while now, happy to finally have it done up! I recall it being nearly done, but I was not satisfied with how Shandra looked, so I redid her entirely, and added in two new aeros in the back to fill up some of the empty space. Also added a decal to Shandra's thigh, connotating her rank as a Colonel, and TAC sign, which is now "Nightshade".
Really been getting back in the swing of things lately, experimented with some new techniques in recent weeks as well, some of which we'll be seeing in the near future too!
Here, we have Shandra during her retirement years, making her public debut at Wright-Patterson with the "Wings of History" flying museum group on a good, clear day. Accompanying her are an old P-80 Shooting Star and a defected VPAF MiG-17, two of whom I may touch down on later.

This does make me wonder, since you say this is in her retirement years.
Since the Aeromorphs are clearly sentient creations at this point.. can they willingly retire at all? Like decide they nolonger wish to be soldiers n such?
Or is it strictly a "Your technology/abilties are out-dated, time to stop" kind of mothballing retirements only?

The latter. In this world, they're viewed as hardware in the legal realm, so they can't choose to retire.
The Shooting star for example, while the Raptor of his time, was eventually outclassed by more modern types like the MiG-15. They can receive upgrades to serve as a stopgap to try and keep them up with the MiG-15, but that pushes their limits. Eventually the speed and strength they have just can't compete, and they'd face retirement after being supplemented and replaced by faster, more agile and advanced types.
Retirees are often mothballed or sold to private owners.
I'll do something up regarding this in the near future.

They originally started as the Confederate Air Force which name was a bit of a tongue in cheek joke as the four guys who founded it were a bunch of Rebels, but back in 2001 after members' vote, the name was changed to Commemorative Air Force which took effect on Jan. 1st, 2002.
This is the CAF and the song in the video is Ghost Squadron by singer Tennessee Ernie Ford.

You should take look at a youtuber called Found and Explained. He talks about planes that were never built, like the worlds largest flying boat, The KX-03. And unique underrated planes that were built, and are in a museum, like the Vought V-173 AKA The Flying Pancake.
The closest I've done so far is Miami, a B-2 Spirit. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/40527399/
Aeros do not have different ethnicities like we do, but as a machine, she imprinted off of her handler, who is a Cuban-American immigrant FROM Miami. She'd adopt her fiery Latina flare, and appreciation for Cuban music and culture.

You don't have to be Russian or American to have to stand out or have an interesting story. Plus, I'd hardly call the VPAF minor even at the time. We had newer supersonic jets that still got clapped by older, slower and less agile MiGs, at least until phantoms got their guns, but some pilots from the North still proved to be worthy adversaries. Some pilots, and just as I'm sure aeros, would have some stories to tell.
Something I've wondered about this world is, has there been any accidents where humans have tried to do the business with an aircraft? Is there some sort of underground subculture that simps over these things? It's hard to believe that people wouldn't at least imagine doing something with those extremely picturesque bodies. As even in our world, we have people simping over them, and they aren't even real. (Yet)
