Got this idea shortly after I did his canon version.

While he might not have as much range as he does in his serpentine form, he's still a capable fighter in close quarters.

And one thing that he can do to give himself a better advantage is use his tail as an additional limb for wielding weapons, notably swords and daggers that he sometimes steals off of reckless enemies.
