Interesting choice. Fitting that she loves swimming, and also making her a non-mammal since she's not from this planet.
Thanks to Celeste, I ended up writing a 24K-word fic about Celeste after finishing the game, which ended a three-and-a-half-year period where I couldn't find the time or motivation to really write anything, so she is rather uniquely special to me in that way.

The ocean feels otherworldly at times. She also loves/is from space, and her zodiac sign is Cancer (the crab). So I tried to combine these thought processes into her design. I didn't base her off a specific crustacean in order to give her that "undiscovered" vibe.

Indeed, I've been interested in the ocean since elementary school. I've often compared it to an alien world, right in our backyard. Which would fit Celeste: She's clearly not of this world, and yet she fits in surprisingly well. And oh yeah, I forgot that would be her sign, wouldn't it?
