This is the reference for my character Affen, that I have for a while now, but never uploaded his ref for (nor did the artist, to my knowledge)
He is a Pacific White Sided Dolphin, but dwells into the mystic arts, learning and using magic.
His amulet is the focus of his power, and he very rarely part with it.

It's quite more complicated than that ^^
If Affen get eaten directly and digested, he will die.
What he does, is creating realistic clones of himself, that are directly linked to his mind.
He can also 'trap' his real self into a pocket dimension where he stays safe while he takes control of a clone instead. The amulet can be duplicated as needed (the gem in it: that's another story)
