Another character for  ElCid's monster fighter.

The demon known as Azael attacked Normandy for over 350 years. The people lived in constant fear of when he would decide to attack next, and none could stand up to him. It wasn't until a team of 12 holy men came together that he was finally defeated. Azael was trapped within a powerful circle spell, sealed in stone, making him a gargoyle, and placed atop a cathedral as a warning to all other demons. However, the spell could only keep him contained for so long, and after 700 years, the stone imprisoning him finally crumbled away. Now awakened and recharged, he's ready to make up for lost time by wreaking havoc on modern-day France and then the rest of the world.
