Guardians are special. Something about them exuberates familiarity to those that encounter them from their native territories. Looking akin to a paladin riding its steed, the beasts, while often a little more lean, have great power in their grasp, from thrusting the blades of their hands as spears to breathing what many call "hexa-fire" -- a heated inferno that both burns and embeds hexatexime spores. Some attest to hearing humane sounds emanating from the humane part of the beast, before those sounds are covered with the drooling growls of the quadruped beneath. Their blood is not black, but red, and these beasts do not come alone... They are capable of manifesting tiny, spider-like beings that can adhere to a host and bite, or form together to form a hazardous pool that is best traversed around instead of over. They are a mystery, and rare, just as much as they are dangerous.
