Whisper: Good. Let them be.
Like myself, Whisper was raised to NEVER rely on other to protect her, or wait on someone to save her- because in life, people have a tendency to disappoint you, be it intentionally or not. Most of you know what I am talking about; the older you get, the more you are careful about whom you let into your life. But I will not lecture my dear watchers, most of you are here for the art, not a lesson!
As a result, Whisper has worked hard to grow, not just physically, but mentally and emotionally independent, so that she is able to fend for herself as much as possible!
I jokingly said one day I'm going to have an artist draw Whisper as a knight saving some random "prince" as a parody of a "damsel in distress" LOL. Yes, I would and most of my friends and long term watchers know Whisper could pull off such a piece of art~

Truth is, I did not choose to be strong all the time,
but I do not have the luxury of letting my guard down,

Exactly. It is not as if I choose to lead this life of being "independent and strong," but after being disappointed and hurt so much, I've learned it's better to rely on myself than risk letting someone else try to protect or help me.
