While starting up his New Jedi Academy 5 years after the Battle of Endor, Luke Skywalker tried to make contact with any surviving Jedi or trainees that were still out there. Ahsoka told him of how his father Anakin had trained Chanticleer in the ways of the Force during the War Against Disney, and gave him the new coordinates of the planet Cartoonia. Luke traveled there in his X-Wing, and discovered that it was currently in the year 1986 local time. Landing on the farm, Luke met Chanticleer, Goldie, their now-adult children William and Donna, and several of Chanticleer's students on the grounds of the Jedi Academy he had built there in the late 60's.

Here, we see Luke talking to a now 56-year-old Chanticleer about Anakin and the friendship the two had during the Clone Wars some 30 years earlier. Compared to Luke's black outfit, Chanticleer's appearance is far more colorful, with him still wearing jeans and a silk scarf, as well as a V-neck T-shirt beneath a white blazer. Despite being the Grandmaster of the Cartoon Jedi Order, Chanticleer gives off "cool grandpa" vibes.
