Characters
Synopsis:
Liam Ward, a fugitive who has assumed a new identity after committing his first murder, flees to the neighboring county of Blackwater to escape his dark deed.
Plagued by uncontrollable urges, Liam bites off more than he can chew when his second murder attempt puts him face to face with an experienced serial killer: the unassuming and respected professor at Blackwater University, Dorian Cöen. Luckily for Liam, Dorian's curiosity gets the better of him as he spares Liam's life. Instead, taking him under his wing as his pupil.
As Dorian hopes to witness Liam’s transformation from a nervous, inexperienced murderer to a cold-blooded serial killer, Liam grapples with what he is becoming and a flood of complex emotions. However, things do not go as either anticipated when the two start to form an unexpected bond and begin to question their own perceptions of reality.
I talked about this more on my twitter (Click here to check me out on there) but I have been working on a second novel since I completed writing To Dust, (I just have to draw it haha). So I'll be working on this in tandem with To Dust, as a "project B".
Note: A villanesque, also called a villanelle, is a form of poetry often lyrical or ballad-like. Though its roots are in pastoral subject matter, these poems evolved to describe intense or dark subject matter, most often centering around obsessions.

Right now I am considering what options I have. There's been a shift in the available platforms for artists to fund projects through. I'm considering doing much of it through patreon similar to To Dust, and posting here and on my website as well. I'll know more about how it will be distributed once I finish writing the first draft :)
