alright so this was like 3 days ago... i think i lost track of time, i was fucking around with a new template after i was kindda tired build my titan, i wanted to try the rhino and i was quite impressed with the results, and i just couldnt stop building it...

Ah, the Rhino... pretty much a box on wheels, but one of the Imperium's most heavilly armored and reliable transport-vehicles. And the template upon which is built such tracked badasses as the Land Raider and Land Raider Crusader.

Bah... the Tau were the closest thing to an actual hero-race- tolerance, progression, positive thinking- before Games Workshop decided they should be as GRIMDARK as the rest of the setting. Pooh-pooh to that, I say! MY Tau cadre would adhere to the Greater Good, in spirit as well as in letter.
Pffft... were THAT the case, the Tau would actually have PSYKERS. Ethereals are merely charismatic (though rumours persist of pheromone-based mind control), their ships can only skim the Warp, and they register as only a faint echo to astropaths and mystics and the like.
Personally, I think it would only serve to cheapen the fact that they went from hunter-gatherers to the most technologically advanced race in the galaxy in the relatively short span of 6000 years. FOR THE GREATER GOOD!

nnoo owhy would eldar make something with their gift? they wanted soemthing semi controlled, thus their whole pherimone thingy, and the eldar always wanted to make a perfect race to fix the horrid past they made, its always been in the lore of the Eldar and the tau are rumored to actually being the works of eldar, youd be amazed on reading soem of the novels that hint twards that, hell theres even novels that prove furry / anthro imperials exsist, though they willingly went to battle to redeem their mutation, it is in there as much as people wanna argue that furries dont belong in 40k
Why would Eldar make something with their own gift? Because every piece of Eldar technology is psionic in nature... even their COMM-LINKS use telepathy. Tau tech is 100% technological- no prayers and litanies, no psychic uploads, no funny business. The Eldar may be manipulative and tricksy, but they do NOT possess the same faculties and abilities that allowed the Old Ones to create life, and thus piss off the Necrontyr who would eventually become the Necrons.
Then again... the Necrons hate pretty much everything, and the C'tan look upon the universe as a perverse cross between a chessboard and a buffet table.

but Eldar know better then any one what toiling with the warp does, they want an incuroptable race, so cut it off from the warp would be the safest thing to do, they already made one enemy that will most likely destroy them in the warp, why would they make ANOTHER potential army? THATS why they didnt give them any psyonich potential
I still stand by my belief that the Eldar simply cannot match the abilities of the Old Ones that created them. Then again... maybe it wasn't the Eldar, but a small offshoot of the Old Ones themselves who created the Tau, or at least influenced their technological progression? Just a thought.
intersting conversation u two are having there id have ta agree wiht Lunar if ur going to create a race u dont make them exactly as u ae cus ur looking att it from the point as thier going to merge armies in that case the tau whould need to know how to use Eldar tech and be psyonic but as it stands that aint going ta happen. but then again im a still kind of new Tyranids player so ill just leave my comment to that
yeah they would never make a race who can even potentially beat them, eldar are arrogant and prideful, thus why their still fighting in the brinks of extintion, but ya know tyranids were my first army too starting out, and it was discouraging XD seeing all my bugs get slaughters. but the key is is to not let that annoy you, as a nids mind set is you gotta sacrifice your meat shields and just push on and overcome them with your swarm!
