Jonas, one of the two mascots for Califur, is a gray wolf. I was asked to be the Guest of Honor at Califur.2 in 2006, so this is one of several pieces I'm doing for them. The character is copyright to Califur, but the artwork is copyright to me. Theme for C.2 is "Furry Pirates" (Gotta love that " bug), so here he is, all pirated up with a cutlass, pistol and blunderbuss.
Bonus points to anyone who can correctly identify where I got the red-heeled boots from.

And I'm sorry, but all my brain can think of is 'Don Carnage'. The furryness of the pirate overides all other thought.....and the fact I know so VERY little about pirate folk. Unless it's from Pirates of the Carabien(or however you spell it! XD)
