My Rex Sona Nikola - Or Niki for short

I realized for some time i really havn't had a sona and ive grown rather bored of Lace. This doesnt mean im replacing Lace, just sort of having her share the spot light with another representation.

Niki is a native Born Baltic Rex and like many Rex's of baltic origin, is a Weatherwane, which is basically like those who have been especially Trained for Weatherbane hunting. (weatherbanes are like the rumian whale) So that explains her tattoos there, though the one on her back, like on lace, represents my surgery cus im lame and add that to like every sona.

Nikola barely speaks any other language but Baltic so i imagine when she meets/gets with Hale - http://nayelis.deviantart.com/art/S.....095?q=&qo= (Nym's thrish sona) Hale is all WTF WHY DONT YOU SPEAK RIGHT and probably teachers her some basic rumes or something.

I was gonna add a size chart but meeh use your imagination, shes about the same height as Vani only a bit shorter, so you could say uhhh same height as Bacardi? So about 4-5 inches shorter then Hale.

As for wtf is up with her eyes, she has something that moderately common in the Baltic simply called "Still eye" which can occur if the Rex is born in some of the colder months of the year in the Baltic (the place is always fucking cold btw, snowy as hell and like sub zero degree weather all year round, it's why Rex's are the only thrish who live there) Still eyes happen when the child is exposed to severe cold during the first hour of birth if they choose to open their eyes - the weather is actually so cold it damages their eyes, at first turning them milky from the freeze and then as they gradually heal from it, they turn dark like this. Now this doesn't mean Niki is blind or has severe eyesight issues, it just makes her eyes very sensitive to high volumes of light and makes her capable of actually seeing at night better, as well as making her eyes very resistant to the harsh cold of the air and the water in the Baltic - she is however, unable to see in many colors as a result, tho in a place like the Baltic, color isn't exactly something anyone would be missing out on.

As you can see, for a Rex she has very over grown wings - Typically this nothings special in thrish, but with Rexes, wing size tends to remain rather consistant between individuals, so her over grown wings have gotten her lots of shit from her fellow naturally biest Baltic counter parts.

And uhh for those who dont know or have never read my Rex wiki - http://rum.wikispaces.com/rex - Niki is a Royall Rex, which pretty much only means she has Blue tint to her Black feathers and has that long tail trait, something only Royalls have. If you look you'll notice she also has grey trimming the black in places, this is not shading but is in fact, part of her markings.


So typically i would explain her story to you but for now, i dont think i will haha.
