More art for my friend Burd's FableVerse.
When it was only just predators in an endless cycle of feasting upon each other, to consume both flesh and soul to ad to their own power, the wolves reaches enlightenment. Consuming so many of their own, they wished to stop the need for fighting and bloodshed. Their growth in power had earned them the gift of creation. Even to create life itself.
And so they did, creating prey. Prey would be simple creatures, with no soul or the empathy the predators were gifted with. To show them the mercy of not realizing concepts of life and death, and that they only existed to be slaughtered.
It created a new era of peace, turning their home into a paradise. Until everything changed.
