A rudimentary piece... I'll finalize a piece of this fella at a later date.
Let's just be out with it: I adore Star Fox. It was a lot of firsts for me, and a game way, way ahead of its time. The first videogame I ever beat; the first kemono character I was aware of outside of the Sonic the Hedgehog fandom; the first time I'd ever played something other than a platformer; the first music from a game that actually -moved- me. Star Fox for the SNES will always be my favorite game, no matter how much it's outclassed by today's items. It just had that magic.

Sometimes old games are just better than a lot of stuff out today. You couldn't rely on just pretty graphics to get by. You actually had to WORK to get a good story, good music, and good characters.
