It took me a few moments to figure out what this picture reminded me of. A character, I think he was just called Junior, in a video game(Xenosaga), had an attack like this. He would throw a bunch of coins in the air and his shot would ricochet off them before hitting the enemy, I think it was just called Trick Shot. Ah memories...

Anyways, a very interesting style here, and the textures and colors fit the subject matter perfectly. Well done.
