The more I look at your art, and your photographs, I realize that they are each other. We are all lost on our journey in life, that is the beauty of it. We get to search for ourselves and along the way we get to experience all that life has to offer. The good and the bad. It is what makes the journey worth the effort

You're right. It wasn't conscious intent, yet I see what you mean. As an addict I walk this shadow line of dichotomy, between a sober individual forcing himself to function and a drunk whose personality completely changes, even though both sides of that coin share the same consciousness and thus the consequences. It's difficult to describe, I guess the simplest way to put it is that I seem to be in two places at once. The 'real' me is hard to define.
Hope you're not familiar with that feeling. The fewer who have to live through a transitory heaven/hell experience the better in my view, though as you say if you want a good challenge when it comes to self discovery I've certainly got one.

I am very familiar with that feeling, though it is not alcohol or drugs. Mine is a deeper hatred, but the results are the same.
