This one is of his character Griggs (the wolf) out on patrol with the Volterrans (the lionesses in soldier gear) in an aircraft, though they dont seem too enthusiastic about the mission. :'D

Hello. I am the one who commissioned the art piece from Seyumei.
Yes they are meant to be Roman inspired, basically the Volterrans (lions) are a cross between Roman culture/aesthetic, but with modern technology.
Think of them like a near future U.S.A. if they based themselves heavily on Roman cultural values, but still had modern broadcast media and corporations.
