To be perfectly honest, this story missed its mark with me. You certainly covered all the points I requested, but... it feels like it focused on all the wrong areas for my enjoyment.

You spent most of the story describing the flattening process, yet you somehow described it so lightly that I struggled to picture what was going on. All I can say about the rest is that it felt a bit rushed. I also would've liked to learn what Adrian's mental state would be upon arrival at his destination (although considering he'd probably be delirious or worse after 8-20 days of sensory deprivation, maybe I'm better off not knowing).

It's okay, though. We're still learning each other, and what's done is done. I'll make sure my next commission is something that plays better to your strengths.
