upon further study, the fruit is actually a cone, Podocarpus and Taxus (hard to tell from the photo) being conifers. Anyway, love the photo. I am a huge plant nerd and by no means was correcting you. I just like hearing my self talk about plants

the berries of the yew bush are edible and quite tasty but the seeds are deadly poisonous, as is the rest of the plant.
