The Shalkhora are one of the "lesser dragon" nations of Mekiyah - all of them (and the species in general) intelligent beings, with their own culture & beliefs.
Shalkhora are guardians and dwellers of the mountains, mountain passes & canyons in the east — earth and stone alike obey their magic and will.
They are awfully hard to find if they don't wish to be found, and hiding is especially easy when one can change configuration of passages and create secluded mount valleys at will. Despite volatile temper, the Shalkhora are a generally friendly folk to any dragon people or lungaroux and are always willing to provide help or shelter to the ones in need.
But acquiring an enemy in the face of a twelvepawed menace is quite often a death sentence xD
