Fall brings us these wonderful purple asters everywhere around here. sometimes they are blue but not as often. I absolutely love the colour of them. and given that Honey bee Populations have been dropping i was also very happy to spot this guy here. Probably from one of the local Apiary projects in Pittsburgh being that the zoo is close to Phipps Conservatory and other such places.

I really love bees and hope to someday have a small apiary somewhere in my garden.
