Here's the concept for snipers called Marksmen, or the Marksmen class, in the Avralian Fleet. These guys stay away from the heat of battle, sniping down the enemy in the front lines before the Frontliners (Soldiers who literally destroy other front lines, and are the first to strike in battle) get to them.
