Roshan was excited to see how the new hologram projector worked. It was a little device developed by his own company. It was not just any projector, it was a hard light projector. Something that could be touched and felt, yet remained virtual. This projector uses a complex algorithm - which not only can generate geographically accurate landmasses but also their inhabitants. It is refined to give each one of those inhabitants their own consciousness and personality - their own dreams and desires. It can create a perfect world.
After the last light went down, CEO Roshan finally stood up from his chair. He needed some stress relief after all the walking around within the hectic atmosphere of the office. With his wealth, his options were plenty yet he found himself looking down intriguingly at his new floormat.

Roshan slowly kicked off his shoes, after wearing them for thirteen hours and finally felt some freedom hit his socked feet. He poured himself a glass of whisky from his decanter. He took two shots before anything else. He could feel his head getting lighter and his mood was more relaxed. Roshan peeled off his sweaty black socks, imprinted by his heavy soles from a long day of work, and tossed them next to his shoes. It was finally time to try out his hard-light hologram.
Roshan slowly put the ball of his foot down on one edge of the mat, feeling the generated earth shift as his feet sank through. It felt like sand, yet it was cold and refreshing. A rush of joy filled Roshan's body with each step he took. On purpose Roshan generated the most hopeful people to walk over, so that he was able to feel their hopes and dreams crumble beneath his feet, giving him the satisfaction he wanted... the pleasure he needed. It felt so good...
