I Absolutely love this comic, and looking forward to when it's available in print. But there's one minor quibble with it.
I'm seeing more and more comics done with 'movement dialog' (for lack of a better term.) Like the one here of "Duck" There's no real need to tell the reader when it's obvious the wolf ducked by the art. I think too, it looks 'cheap'. a crunch maybe is what I'm thinking. It's really not needed on a comic that has excellent art, and consistently been accurate in wolf behavior.
Also 1st panel, the sort of 'w' from the wolf on the top-right. Now that's a good idea. Showing non-word vocalization without need of a dialog balloon.
Yes, I know. I sound like an old fart (But then, I've been reading comics since the mid 60s) it's just an odd new thing I'm seeing. This is a great comic, just a tweak is all.

<3 Ooo. Well, firstly - thank you for taking the time for such involved feedback! It's really useful.
To help me take lessons from it, would you mind clarifying a couple of things? Some of your comments I can read 'in multiple ways' and want to make sure I grasp what you mean.
"I'm seeing more and more comics done with 'movement dialog" - Did you mean that it's been noticeable more and more on the WJ pages, or that it's a general trend in online comics?
"A crunch maybe is what I'm thinking" - Did you mean you suspect a time crunch in creating the art, or that the art itself could do with a 'crunch' element to convey its meaning?
Thank you for your awesomely kind comments too. I'm glad you're enjoying the comic ^^

I'm sorry for the delay. I got hit with a 6 day work schedule and it's cutting into a lot of my work. To your questions:
"I'm seeing more and more comics done with 'movement dialog" - Did you mean that it's been noticeable more and more on the WJ pages, or that it's a general trend in online comics?
No, it's an overall trend on all comics I'm seeing.

I'm trying to think of the term I read years ago. I think it's Deux Ex Machina; Ghost in the machine (or 'God in the machine) it's a plot device that many considers it cheapens the story, maybe showing the writer/artist isn't sure what to do, or trying to resolve a plot problem in a convenient or easy way. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_ex_machina
One big example, but not in the Wiki was the 1969 "Planet of the Apes" novel (that started the whole thing) At the end, there was a Deux ex machina that ruined the entire novel.
In other words, it seems to make the comic look less professional. I've rarely seen comics depict animal (feral) behaviors so well. It looks much like the old animal documentaries I watched as a fawn. (Mutual of Omaha for example). It deserves praise.
Looking forward to more!
