I'll admit that I wrestled with this one. Short-stories can be so straightforward, but my mind has a natural tendency to overcomplicate things. I was actually surprised how long this piece took considering its only a little over three-thousand words. I rewrote it, or at least most of it, twice. All in all, I satisfied my inner need for complication and showed what living with something so fantastical as a tail-maw might be like. This was for

Bed; a half-(tis a comma splice) and there are several scattered in the text. Just pointing it out since it was the first sentence nearly. Pains in my rear to. Something that has helped has been checking both parts on either side of the comma to see if they are both sentences.
