Labar ''Slide of Youth'' by LaytheDiaperedWhiteWolf
-- After being taken by the man, Labar closed his eyes and dreamt of his mother, how she looked down on him with her kind, loving eyes... how she reached out for him with her warm, soft, loving paws... In actuality however, tears were flowing down and fell onto the carpet Labar was put on, in a house that was presumably owned by the man. Some knitting supplies were spread out next to a book or two, which must have fallen off of the table nearby. Labar stood up, wobbled towards the knitting needles and took one in his right paw. ''I... I'm so sorry, mom!'', Labar whispered, ''why did they do this to you? I NEED you...! I wanna be with you...!'' He placed the tip of the needle on his chest. His fur itched as a couple more tears trickled down his chin and his belly. Labar's paw was shaking. He wept away a final tear. He pushed. A terrible pain rushed through his entire body as the needle went through his skin and pierced his heart. Labar fell onto the floor, his head and snout forwards. He barely missed the edge of the gorgeous carpet as he hit the ground. A couple more beatings of his heart rushed through his ears, and then... he was gone... Earlier, Labar felt the blood of his diseased mother flow down his left cheek and his arm -- this time, it was his own blood that spread across the carpet. He was no more... The only thing Labar wanted, was to be reunited with his mother.
Sometime later, Labar opened his eyes. He looked around to discover that he didn't feel any more pain. It was as if all of his suffering had been washed away. Labar checked the area that surrounded him. Big, golden clouds reached out as far as he could see! He heard wind blowing through the air, but he didn't feel any. In fact, he didn't feel anything. At least, nothing except his own fur. He was totally fine. How did he end up here, and what was this peculiar place? In the distance, there was a ferris wheel, accompanied by a colorful merry-go-round. The only other thing Labar saw, was a towering ladder that led to a platform attached to a bright-red slide. Labar stopped and thought... Was he dead? Was this some kind of afterlife? His curiosity took over, and he started climbing the ladder. The platform the ladder was attached to, was in a kind of bad state -- it consisted of four long, thin pillars made of stainless steel, held together by awkwardly placed planks made of wood. Regardless, Labar held on and slowly made his way to the platform at the top... Finally, he arrived at the platform, and looked down the red tube. The entire slide was made of a bright-red halfpipe, probably plastic. ''L-Let's... try this out, then...'', Labar stuttered. He wiped away a tear coming from his right eye, sat down, and there he went. ''W-Whooaah... t-this is... kind of fun!'', he said to himself, ''...where does it lead to?'' No answer. But Labar was happy he could find some enjoyment in heaven. As he slid down, an itching feeling started to grow inside his belly... Was it because of his excitement? Was it because he was curious where he would end up? Gradually, the itching feeling turned into a warm and comfy one... It was at that moment that Labar felt himself shrinking. ''Ohhh... I'm...? I'm... regressing...?'', Labar whispered as he wiped away another tear, now coming from his left eye. ''I'm... r-... ...w-g'wessing...!'', Labar shouted, his voice getting higher-pitched, ''I'm gettin' young-gah'!'' As he slid down further and further, passing dozens of diaphanous clouds along the way, he felt yet another itchy feeling. But this time, it didn't come from inside his body. Rather, it started to form AROUND his body, his lower body. A soft, white piece of cotton, printed with a cartoony dog head, appeared around his waist. ''D-Dia-... p-peh...?'', Labar babbled. He passed another large carnival attraction held up by the glorious clouds, and proceeded to slide down a huge downward spiral. Two sharp turns later, and the end of the slide was finally in sight. ''OOFFF...!'', Labar shouted as he landed on a carpet made of soft pink clouds. This was the end of his journey down the strange slide. It was finally over. As Labar got up, he heard a familiar voice: ''M-My child...! There you are... I'm so sorry, my dearest...!'' A young Labrador was sitting in front of him. Her smile, her familiar smile... Her warm, soft, loving paws... There was no mistaking it -- this dog was his dead mother! Labar fell into the female Labrador's paws and started crying. He couldn't hold it. Even though he was wearing a soft and comfy diaper right now, he didn't care. Softer and comfier were the paws of the one person he loved the most. The one person that was ruthlessly killed by the hunters, without him knowing. ''Child... Oh, my poor child, did you... <Gasp!> Did you... take your own life?'', the big Labrador asked with sadness in her voice. Labar nodded, and sobbing clutched his mother's warm belly. His mother couldn't believe it! Her own son had killed himself? Only to be reunited with her... because he loved her so much? She closed her eyes as she pulled her crying son towards her, holding him against her body. ''No need to cry, my darling... I'll be here... for you...
...forever.....''
