Think of it....there we have this motherfucker, inserting the Messenger data into spiral being's DNA, thus turning Simon's loved one, Nia, into his slave, he's always step ahead of the team Dai Gurren....always countering against their attacks with some shit. I can imagine him with this face each time he counters them.
Smug prick.

Omoshiroi! Soreja, HAN-RASEN. GIGA. DURIRU!! BUREIIIIIKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!
Fucking antispiral was fighting using his own emotions at the end. Fucker was using spiral power without even realizing it. Notice that in Lagann Hen, in the end when they were clashing with their super tengen toppa mechs and Shimon used spiral power to get uber-buff when the transformation to STTGL occured - when the Antispiral went to his own super Granzamboa mech, he ALSO became uber buff. He used spiral power to evolve.
THAT FUCKING HYPOCRITE

Yeah, Anti-Spiral was basically doing the same thing he was preaching against. However, I think it was mainly because he believed that he, as a member of a race who learned the hard way what happens to those who abuse Spiral Power, knows how to use it within limits, so that should make him the only one allowed to use it. I read somewhere that what Simon and Anti-Spiral did (transforming into galaxy-sized beings and collapsing pocket universe) was not even close to what was needed to initiate Spiral Nemesis.
I'll also use this opportunity to shoot down the "STTGL is the biggest mech in the history of anime!" theory. Not exactly. Many times throughout this part of the show was it mentioned that Anti-Spiral homeworld was located in a miniature, pocket sized universe. While TTGL/STTGL are indeed much, much larger than an average planet, they're nowhere near the size of an actual galaxy or bigger-as seen, Granzemboma had AS planet on it's forehead, while many GL mechs can be simply seen one next to each other during the final attack when Granzemboma pierces them. If TTGL was indeed a size of galaxy then it would be waaaay off-screen.

Well of course. They were only able to fight on 'galaxies' because they were in the pocket dimension created by the Hanrasen. However, there are STILL only 2 mechs in all of fiction that surpass STTGL in size, even given this consideration:
Getter Emperor from Getter Robo, which is roughly the size of a solar system
And the elder god form of the mech Demonbane, from the anime of the same name (Shown only in the manga, not the anime), which became so large that it popped the universe it spawned in.

Dude, you need to watch that shit
like
RIGHT THE FUCK NOW
My recommendation would be Getter Robo Armageddon, has 13 episodes-even though it gets confusing at first (Imagawa left the production staff after episode 3, which left some later points in the show unexplained), it's possibly the best Getter Robo anime ever made. Then there's New Getter Robo from 2004. which is a reimagining of the original GR manga, although with some alterations-and I think you'll notice some similarities with Gurren Lagann in latter episodes of NGR (mostly regarding Getter Rays and their nature).

Well, Getter Rays are basically the life itself, a form of energy that became sentient. It is what triggers evolution in all living beings, and much like Spiral Energy, when overused it can destroy the universe. But unlike Spiral Power, it's dangerous to handle-some people in the manga were driven mad by it (Ryoma almost flipped out near the end of New Getter Robo, he would've gone over the limit if his companions didn't call him back to his senses).
