Because humans aren't allowed in the forest. The nymph is implying that, left with his humanity intact, Katsu would suffer a worse fate than the one she is bestowing.

Nice job Rob, though for some reason every time I look at the forest spirit I am reminded of Remiel from Tales of Symphonia @_@

I based her off of Martel.

No, I don't draw the backgrounds the same way. I don't sketch the backgrounds out, I just wing it. I don't use lineart so that the characters stand out.
