Some random Purple flower at the PPG Aquarium. not sure what it is but it was in with the tropicals. and i am only really conversant with local native plants really. a bordering on a thousand of them but still not a drop in the bucket in the plant world... Anyway this lovely sex organ really caught my eye for the wonderful shades of purple and shapes in it. the more magenta looking bit below is also one of the flowers but the backside of the upper petal.
