Whomst let the brains out

Lol, I remember a British 50's or 60's SciFi movie similar to this idea. Somehow or other an experiment creates "invisible" brains that roam about an airbase sucking out people's brains.

One of the scientists figures out how to make them visible so they can be fought, and the aftermath looks a lot like this, lol.

There is even a scene where a hunter gets attacked and has his brain partially sucked out, but manages to escape.

He shows up later with the dumbest look, (figuratively and literally,) on his face. He even runs about groaning out "DUUUUuhhhhhhhhHHH!!!!"

It was supposed to be horrible, but made me laugh instead.

I wish I could find it! It's out of that Saturday night drive in era or Friday "scary" movie date night. I think it was called Quatermass? Something like that..
