Yeah so this is a little weird. The Fleischertoons Twitter feed shared a model sheet for a spider character, from the cartoon 'The Cobweb Hotel' --- https://twitter.com/fleischertoons/.....22584192155648 --- and I wanted to fiddle around with that body plan. But the same day,  unidentifiedtypingobject noticed this wide-faced cat who was in a half-dozen or so Robert McKimson-directed Looney Tunes/Merrie Melodies --- https://looneytunes.fandom.com/wiki.....he_Supreme_Cat --- and I had to agree, he's a handsome boi. So I tried drawing both at once and that's why you have this muddle. I should've done two pictures instead, but if I don't go out on some limbs I won't ever develop.
