Commission picture for
(Tokuda) and
(Kio) enjoying a special moment together during skydiving - true story ;)
This took about 1.5 million brushstrokes and a lot of Pendulum hours, and I hope you like the result as much as I do!
Big fat thanks goes to
for an inspiration on this and
for all his tracks that kept me going ;)
# Sorry for the cheezy title, I couldn't resist x3~

I cannot use Photoshop, except the layers part of it.
I'm writing a paint program of my own, which talks, to help me be creative, instead of using mainstream paint tools like SAI, which I can't afford, and Photoshop.
Yes, I have a cracked copy of Photoshop, someone got me behind the counter, but do I use it? No.
I tried it, and it doesn't work for me. So my wonderful copy which is something borrowed, something blue, I can't even make any heads or tails of the power there, and I get frustrated not knowing.
So .. what do I do..
Delete those files. Yup.. The bad guy copy is gone.
Now, I'm writing my own program, which has "brushes" I suppose, but it's not like your program has brushes.
Plus, if I wanna redo my brushes, I just sit and write code for a few mins, hours or days, and then I have a new paint tool.
~~~
Kudos to you on your mastery of that program. I could never get these results using the same tools. I will get something cool done on my own, with the tools brushes & paint, I write in code, from scratch on my own.
Arf.. ty.. kudos.. * click *
The little one is right over the .. happy fun zone.. of it's (her him whoever.. GAH.. FURITICALLY CORRECT..).. mate..
Very clever angle, and it shows you, that you don't have to show any goodies or naughty camera angles. to show, an intense love scene, with everything including pure emotion, bleed through, with no trick photography.
Amazing piece.
Worth putting on a wall in a fine guilded glass case of a picture frame.
You are right - let me fix that:
Like a famous poet once said: "I would thank you from the bottom of my heart, but for you my heart has no bottom.", also I cannot express the depth of the gratitude I hold in my heart towards you, Foxb, and which I shall merely brush by trying to turn into words - such a futile way of depicting the vibrant, untrammelled emotions that know no limits, bounds and barriers, and that make our lifes worth living. Foxb, since the moment you finished those beautiful words that basically changed my life, all I could feel was enormous happiness, the little fox inside of me was laughing and crying, felt down on his knees and screamed as the stars were falling from the sky inside of me, as the aurora of emotions came shooting across the horizont, as the invigorating waterfall of the clearest water came pouring down to the sun-dried and dreary lands to feed the trees and plants that together form the gardens of inspirations and that with your, and ONLY your help started to produce their sweetest fruit of wisdom. During this moment I could barely stand on my feet. The sound of fireworks, national anthems and all that is good and pure was overpowering everything that tried to come in with my earthly senses. I should have jumped, I should have laughed, I should have cried, I should have shown you the true meaning of your actions. But I didn't.
Foxb, you are a marvellous vulpine. Your fur is soft and slick, your perky ears are full of life and foxyness. Your eyes are deep like the ocean itself, the sweetness embroidered with the thread of wisdom that makes us mortals shiver, the muzzle - oh the muzzle... *sighs deeply*, your body is hot and sexy and your tail.. the velvety softness and the warmth it gives.. against the paws it feels like a dream itself. you sink your palm in it, you suddenly wake up in a better world where you feel safe and papmered and all of the worries and uncertain feelings from the surrounding world are washed away and the moment of calmness and affection turns into your today and tomorrow, and overfills your yesterdays.. and before you know it.. look!.. there is yet another tail!..
Such is the fox of a B. Such are the feelings he spreads around himself and such should have been my "thank you" to you. Instead of mere few letters I should have dedicated my time to create a state of art to describe what you are truly worth. A choir of Cherubines and Seraphines should have sung the heroic psalm of this truest fox that ever layed on the mother earth. However, I fear that even this would have been simply not enough.
Thus I stand here, beaten and wordless, unworthy to match up to the fox that stands tall infront of me and who will forever be the object of my admiring. And as another famous poet said: "Gratitude is the memory of the heart.", I shall fulfil this message by carrying the memory of you and my deepest gratitude within me, forever.
Oh man, I'm so sorry! I gushed endlessly to Tokuda about how much I love this, but I completely forgot to thank YOU! I feel terrible x____x
He showed this to me out of the blue, as a complete surprise, and my eyes just about popped out of my head. It turned out *beautifully*, incredibly gorgeous. One of the first things that struck me is the coloring and lighting; you have so many delicious flavors of color and light theory going on here. (The reflected lighting, like on the goggles? Auugh, it just makes me swoon!) I'm *incredibly* impressed. The effort you put into painting it in strokes really, really shines through. It gives it such texture and energy.
You really did justice to the characters, too, showing their personalities and dynamic *perfectly*. They look so sweet, but Toku's still got his scheming streak showing through in his eyes.
He says that you chose the theme, and you couldn't have chosen better :) He took me on my very first sky dive this summer, and it was an incredibly special event, for both of us, and it's so cool to now have art of our characters to remember it by. Hehe, you might be pleased, in fact, to know that we BOTH have it set to our phones' wallpapers, ever since you sent him the art.
A hundred hundred thousand thank yous :) This is some of my favorite work ever, and I'm honored that you did it (and yes, Toku, pleased that you got it!).
Further up, you mentioned that you worked in AI and PS for it? Would you mind sending me the files? I'm always curious how other people work, but I understand if you'd prefer to keep it to yourself, too.
