Physical Appearance: a tall female Quagga with a toned, athletically muscular body, like a brawler. As a Quagga, her upper half has dark orange stripes, while the rest of her fur is tan. She has almost no zebra features, save a single black stripe down her back. She has a deep scar on her abs.

Powers: She has the ability to produce a gel from her skin which reacts to kinetic force, detonating concussively outwards if she hits or is hit. Any concussive force to the gel triggers it, meaning she can fire herself upwards by stomping the ground. She can also coat objects in the gel and hurl them as explosives. At it's strongest, the concussive force of the gel can shatter a solid concrete wall

Bio: Edith was born in Italy, but moved to America with he mother when she was a baby. Her childhood was happy and she was doted on by her mother. She often wondered who her dad was until her 7th birthday, she found out the worst way possible.
The villain known as Buzzsaw kidnapped them and revealed that he was her father, having conceived Edith after he sexually assaulted her mother years ago. He tortured Edith's mother to death in front of her and kept her as a slave for years, visiting every form of abuse and torture on her. She survived through sheer tenacity before finally seizing her chance to escape. Shortly after her 14th birthday, Buzzsaw, angered at having failed a heist, took his anger out on her, but she severed his legs with his own weapon before escaping. She moved to the other side of America and changed her name to Eddie, but was nearly driven insane by the memories. At 19 years of age, she turned to drugs to try relieve the pain. She would've likely died, but Buzzsaw had found her, now possessing new robotic legs. He slashed her across the abdomen, but the terror, combined with the drugs, activated her latent mutant ability, and a slap sent Buzzsaw through the wall.
Overcome with anger, she would have beaten her father to death, but collapsed from her injuries. When she awoke, she saw the massive head of a towering Woolly rhino gazing at her, who introduced himself as Nikolai Vachenski. Although initially angry at having been denied a chance to kill Buzzsaw, she was thankful for the rhino saving her life and at his request, repaid him by cleaning herself up. Eventually, the lure of Nikolai's hero work caught her interest, prompting her to create her alter-ego, Slapshot.
Personality: Eddie's past has made her independent, blunt, sassy, short-tempered, slow to trust strangers, and somewhat nihilistic at times. Her painful past heavily influences her life, and as a result, she hates cyborgs and loathes BOS for failing to save her. Although slow to trust strangers, those who befriend her will find her warmer side, kind, caring and willing sacrifice herself for others. Despite her unquestioning loyalty to her friends, she's known for being a loose cannon and her temper can flare up easily. She's almost immovably stubborn and will lash out impulsively if pushed too far. Nonetheless, she is always honest, good natured, and straight-forward, and is driven to make sure nobody suffers like she did. Despite her fearless exterior, she is gripped with incredible terror of losing those she cares about.
