Murmjyank/Murmew Nyajkana the first girlfriend of Jonty Eiden from Ripli Chernova's comics "A Story With a Known End". She was shocked, when Jonty came in her cafe with Clementine Collins and then, she rather awkwardly tried to disrupt Jonty and Clementine relationships, but as result - pushed Jonty from herself even more.
Well I based on those pages that you mentioned, to write the previous comment, and as you can see there is no such kind of relationship between Jonty and Murmew. they are just friends, and Jonty's ring was the only memento of his mother who abandoned him when he was a cub.
