Like most things I enjoy, I think it's a little off, dripping with atmosphere and rough around the edges. For one reason or another it made a lasting impression on me, and I find the genuine passion of the creator seeping through endearing and inspirational.

It is a bit short, ignoring the implicit sidequests. Then again, it's a single giant map, from what I recall, and yet still holds that metroidvania feel.
That early room with the arms... eugh... Of all the particular designs, that was the one that unsettled me the most.
Still, I'm glad to find someone else that liked it!

I had it on my radar for a while because it's style is so rad but I just can't play games with the duke nukem 3d / doom style. The combination 3d with flat sprites gives me motion sickness or something and that's coming from a guy who put tens of hours in cruelty squad.
The work the dev did is beautiful nonetheless.
