http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/do.....atemonster.htm Dominate Person won't work on a lycanthrope, since they're technically not humanoid type. Same for Dominate Animal and not being actually animal type.
No, wait, I'm wrong. http://www.d20srd.org/srd/monsters/lycanthrope.htm This says they're still humanoids (with the shapechanger subtype), regardless of form.
