"Hardy?! You're LAUGHING?! What's happening to you?!" finally managed to yelp Lippy.
Hardy didn't answer, he kept laughing.
A laughter that amplified when he finally flexed too hard for the agonizing chains around him.
The links and manacles broke in pieces and were sent flying by the sheer power of the flexing, shocking even more Lippy and Top Cat.
Eventually, Hardy finally stopped laughing, needing to catch his breath.
The growth also stopped at this point, the hyena now a leviathan of pure physical might, every inch of his now ten feet tall body bursting with humongous muscles.
But he didn't stop flexing like there was no tomorrow, making his already overbulging bulk bulge even more, intensifying the unfathomable strength he now possessed.
The star on his hand didn't stop shining, even though it did weaken a bit.
And most shocking of all, he didn't stop smiling, a wide, triumphant, happy smile.
"Hardy?" stammered worriedly Lippy. "You're okay, man?"
This time, Hardy heard him.
"Okay?! I'm not okay, Lippy, I'm beyond okay! I've never felt better in all my life!" exulted the hyena.
It didn't reassure the lion.
