An amazing piece! Definitely a favorite!
Here is the story Linette added about this piece: "The life near the mansion had begun right at sundown, and now, hours later, it was no closer to stopping-- indeed, it had ramped up to a fiery, feverish, jovial romp, as dozens of figures danced and cheered, drank and played, caressed and scuffled.

Faces were a blur here- spinning madly, one would see twenty people in one continuous multicolored smear, full of laughing eyes and clever masks. But one face in particular captures your gaze... and you've clearly caught hers as well.

For one split second you share this connecting glance, and then she's gone again, caught up in the dizzying whirl of bodies."
