                    video ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SFlTJybsYpc
A short video showing how my scales slide across each other to allow completely free joint movement. The next step is to figure out how to make this work on the insides of joints.
The claw was an afterthought, and it's crooked and makes typing uncomfortable, so I have to redesign it.
Completely made from card paper and hot glue to stick it to my skin.
Video is focused on my computer and not my finger because my camera sucks.

                    It's defiantly very awesome, and it feels cool too. ^.=.^
The only real problem is that it isn't something that I can take off and save to put back on later, or just keep on because it'd be weird to go to work with scales on my hand.
The hot glue isn't as bad as it sounds. Although I try to put it on as hot as I can tolerate so that it sticks better, hot glue(at least, the lower temp stuff that's rated at 100C) can cool enough that it feels nice and hot rather than burning hot and it will still stick.

                    This time I gave myself a few first degree burns due to impatience, but the result looked way cooler http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4603009
also, I found out that the temp of a lower temp glue gun is 140C, not 100C.
