Luc jogged home. It was easy going, once she found a tube top able to handle her mass, and avoid socking her lupine snout with her own tits. The vampire werewolves huge paw and muscular frame made the trek in less than fifteen minutes normally.
Tonight, she did it in five.
She fumbled with the key of the apartment, panting hard with glee and excitement, and ducked inside to-
FWUMP
Catch her hips on the doorframe, fluffy white fur squeezing around a broad set of thighs and killer ass. She loosed a growl of frustration and felt the doorway flex at her strength, before forcing herself to reverse, shimmy sideways and duck into her home, slamming the door and drawing the windows before setting down her little rucksack.
The box sat inside. Vince had picked it up for her, and passed it to her at work, joking about how big a nerd she was. He had no idea, she felt more excited than she had been a month ago!
The box of a brand new VREX Console, a purple VR visor with its twin hand controllers, and a copy of Tales of Fantasy. Custom VRPG, apparent game of the year already, source of her transformation into this form. And now, hopefully, her ticket back to humanity!
Luc slowed, sitting cross legged as she delicately lifted the hardware. It was tiny in her big pawed hands, and balanced a little uncomfortably on her nose, before blinking into life- far, far too bright for her nocturnal vision! A whine escaped from between her fangs as the furry amazon struggled to find settings and lower them to a minimum, then sync the game to her console.
TALES OF FANTASY, the opening titles sounded, words whizzing in front of her vision as the speakers buzzed against her skull- still close enough for keen hearing to pick up. Yet somehow, there was already a character loaded- Luc Bernando, Vampire Werewolf Barbarian, level 8.
It knew her? She had made this character in the game once already, so the magic or curse or whatever worked? Luc clicked on it, and blinked as her crimson, blood red character sheet opened again, listing skills, abilities, and- there at the bottom, a bright red button, “New Character”.
“Yes!” Luc almost smashed the ceiling with her excited leap. No more getting stuck in doors, no more hiding from the sun, no more towering over jerks, no more impossible strength, no more flights under perfect skies, no more sumptuous gorgeous frame…
She swallowed, fighting her hesitation, and clicked, only to bombarded with more text.
<WARNING: CREATING NEW CHARACTER WILL KILL CURRENT CHARACTER. CONTINUE?>
With a small hiss, the vampire werewolf barbarian glanced up. A marker hovered there, above her head now visible.
<LIVES: ZERO>
“Nope. Nope. Not falling for that. No way.” She frantically clicked reject, heart pounding- had she been one button away from death? From slaughtering herself to… what?
With a frustrated grunt, Luc stripped the VREX headset off and chucked it back into the box. It had been a false hope then. If she could be fixed, she needed more than just this to change herself back. And yes… a small shard of her smiled at the revelation. A couple more weeks as a buff busty vamwolf wouldn’t hurt right? Or a few months… Who could say.
Thus ends Teething Problems for the moment!
Little abrupt, but 25 is a nice round number, and I think this secures Luc’s general position in her story for whatever shenanigans she’s subjected to! Hope you enjoy- next up will probably be some commission work, and eventually a new Choose the TF series- stay tuned!

I adore her slight hesitation at undoing her wolfy body, and the secret relief at getting to stay that way for a bit longer. <3
Would love to see more of her later, but this does seem like a good "chapter end", as it were. We can imagine her flying freely and beating up more punching bags in the meantime.
