How can it visualy side aim like that with the sholder mounted weapon blocking the view like that? Is there a secondary camera on the gun its self?

Yes there is. the Strike gundam itself has 3 cameras on it. 2 are the eyes. and the 3rd one is above its crown that glowing green spot. on the rifle itself there is also a targeter on it to feed info to the controls.

I remember the lay out in the cameras. Dont they have 4 though? There is usualy a camera in the back of the head, usualy on the back of the crests of gundam heads which is why they all have a prominent crest sticking out of the top that looks like a crest you would see on a greek helmet.

hmmm you could be i just know of the 3 so far. but that could explain it and why on the models there is a light slot on the back of the head could be for that :) though I know the Crest on the heads are not for camera's in Gundam Seed those Crests are Radio Antennes and pick up recievers and stuff.

I'm not familiar with the designs for mobile suits in the seed series, I'm only familiar with UC mobile suits, and only marginaly so. When I say crests, I dont mean the crests on the forehead, I mean the thick ridge that runs along the head, in your picture it would be that white ridge just behind the red shield-like crest on the forehead. Thats where they would put the main cameras and the eyes would provide the secondary cameras which gave a wider view and also provided depth. The camera in the back of the head, obviously, is to alert the pilot of attacks from behind and also give a pilot a rear view of something, important if he is being chased.

Oh. If I remember, those big yellow things coming out of the forehead crest were the antenna and such. Thats why they was so big and rather fancy looking.

You gotta love the interchangable weapons loadout of the Strike Gundam :)
But i never truly worked out the camera thing. Regardless of how many cameras it has there are still only three screens (front, sides) for the piolot to use, and the head seems to respond to the pilots own motions.

aww thanks very much I just colored it by watching my 1/100 scale kit standing beside me buut I forgot to color septerra's hair as it was done late at night the rest was just imagination on the background
