So. This one took me a while.
Here are all of my magic-wielding or wizard-like OC's in one big image.
Below are their names, how long I've had them, and a brief summary of each.
1. Witchlexis - 2 years.
My current "human" representation/witchsona. Basically a very much idealised version of my transitioned self, just imbued with magical powers. The design was thanks to cluewoof on twitter, with the inspiration being the Witch from Fire Emblem: Fates.
2. Walpurgis - 6 years.
The previous iteration of my "witchsona" - a dhampir proficient in alchemy, with a penchant for stealing hearts. However, she now bears quite a grudge against Witchlexis for "stealing her thunder". Despite her longer-running design, she was sadly unpopular.
3. Audax - 15 years.
The "World Guardian" - effectively, my RuneScape 3 toon/character. The "long-suffering" hero of Gielinor, and honestly needs a vacation (and the chance to marry her cave goblin wife). Whilst technically not an OC, I decided to include her as she's been with me for quite some time.
4. Jolene Concordia - 10 years.
Everybody's favourite. 7'2" of tanky, gentle giantess. Jolene is the epitome of a good caretaker of those smaller and younger than herself, and has had a well-developed backstory through the many years she's had under my eye. The "fan favourite", I have more art of her than any other character.
5. Alice - 2 months.
Alice Glenfellow is the newest addition in this roster, being my Halfing Wizard from D&D. Under the School of Necromancy, her talents and abilities have only really just come into focus, and the campaigns she will undertake (when next she departs for one) will be legendary.
6/7. Victoria and Gael Williams - 2 years.
"Siblings" in the loosest of terms - Victoria and Gael are "hollow beings" - reanimated puppets of an unknown and eldritch science. Whilst they can use magic, they don't leave any magical impact on the world around them. Both are under the care of a witch-hunter named Yoran.
9. Joshua Hargrave - 12 years.
The technical longest-running OC. Here is his "Act 2" state - otherwise known as "Final Bosshua", as he's the Final Boss of his own story. The trajectory of a well-meaning but universe-denied man pushed to the utter brink of insanity, only to be taken down by his own follies.
10. Juliet Hargrave - 6 months.
How it took so long to make a female version of Joshua, I'll never know. Effectively the same as Joshua, but #girl. I made a few tweaks to the costuming. I felt it might be neat to contrast Joshua's more "flowy" design with one that was far more "angular".
11. Alistair Moorebank - 3 years.
The "protagonist" of Joshua's Act 2. A well-meaning man from the 1940's dragged into the reality-destroying ways of Joshua. At the cost of his eye, he, too, gained magical abilities - enough to combat Joshua and undo the damage he has caused on all others.
Phew! This is probably my biggest and most complex piece. I hope you all enjoy them, and if any interest you, feel free to message me directly. I'm more than happy to blab about my OC's. β₯
