Alright, so I got a commission and when asked what the character looked like, turns out there was no set design. And after trying to draw the type of dragon asked of me (it's and imperial dragon from this book called "Temeraire"), I found it really hard to do. That's because each dragon made is customized to be what the creator imagines them to look like.

With that said, I needed something to help the commissioner decide a basic idea of what they would like their dragon to look like. So I made this, it's a ref sheet of very basic dragon designs. I covered as much as I can about the body design of a dragon. That's not to say that everything is on here, just main ideas.

So here is a sheet to help build a dragon. Everything on here is basic and things can be adjusted (meaning they extend longer, shorter, more of something, less of something, etc.)
