Wow! This is absolutely marvelous!
I love how detailed it is while still looking like a loose speedpaint.

This almost reminds me of the colossi in Shadow of the Colossus. Which is awesome :)

How come stuff like this is never in art galleries, yet pictures like 'red' (a humongous canvas, covered in varying shades of red, with no discernable pattern or meaning) get places in really posh galleries that you need to pay for entry?

Not bad, I must say. Love the appearance and texturing of it. Work more on the values and overall depth (and less outlines) and your art will look fantacular.

much of the grass-like texture is thanks to the CS5 brushes, they give a cool effect, though they are hard to get used to.

Either way, the colors are smooth. Nature related pictures tend to grab at my heartstrings. Especially when it comes to abstract ideas. I really love speed paints, because some really beautiful stuff tends to come of it.
